Noriko joined a gymnastics club when she was 12, she was attracted to the dynamics of the sport. She has also had experience in Baton twirling, and cheerleading at College, where she took part in competitions and performed in various events.
In 2007, after having children, Noriko was looking for something to get her fitness back, and that’s when she found pole dancing, in Eastbourne. Noriko joined a pole dancing class held at local pub, and although she was there for only a few months, she was hooked on pole dancing, but had to stop due to moving house.
In 2009, after sometime of teaching herself, Noriko found pole fitness classes in Hailsham with Pole Performance run by Holly, and since then, for the last 8 years, Noriko has been training hard each week to progress. Over the last few years Noriko also attended some master classes with Natasha Wang and Bendy Kate and had opportunity to participate some pole fitness classes in Japan as well.
“I found that pole fitness is such an exciting way to keep fit, and also builds confidence as you become able to do many amazing moves you never thought you would be able to do!
I have also met some lovely people along the way, it is a great way to socialise with like-minded people” Noriko
In October 2014, Noriko pasted the Level 1 and 2 Instructor qualifications with the Pole Studio and received her First Aid certificate then went on to instruct beginner’s classes for Pole Performance. She is now qualified to an advanced level.
